Frenchs Forest Pipe Relining

A sewer blockage is a common and expensive problem affecting homeowners in Australia. Nearly all cases of sewer clogs are caused by root intrusion. Roots from plants and trees can head towards your sewer pipes in search of water sources causing significant damage.

Up until thirty years ago, we had no choice but to resort to traditional methods of fixing broken or damaged pipes. These methods entail the excavation of pipes so they can be replaced. Another way to deal with sewage problems is to choose pipe relining over traditional methods.

No matter what type of pipes have been used in your sewer system, they are susceptible to erosion and/or blockages. Traditionally, when sewer systems have failed to operate efficiently, deep excavation has been required to repair the pipes. This is a costly, lengthy and destructive process, one which fills many with fear upon discovering that they need their sewer line repaired.

The old broken pipes can be repaired with little to no excavation at all. Since there is not much work involved, the total cost of the project will be considerably cheaper than traditional methods. Pipe relining is ideal for pipes with diameters as narrow as 40 mm to as long as 600 mm and can also run for 40-50 metres of pipe.

How Pipe Relining is Carried Out

The cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP) inversion method of pipe repair entails different steps. Here are the steps we take to ensure that we resolve your sewage issues properly:

Clear The Line: The pipes will be partially cleaned using a high pressure water jetter to remove debris in the pipes.

CCTV Inspection: Next, a sewer camera is inserted into the pipe so that it can be inspected. What the plumbers mostly want to know is where the damage is exactly, and how severe it is. Clients are also able to view the footage once it’s taken. You may find this helps in making a more informed decision about whether pipe relining is right for you.

Full Cleaning: The pipe will be cleaned once again using the high pressure water jetter this time to remove all the obstructions and prepare it for the pipe liner installation.

Pipe Liner Installation: This will serve as the new interior of the damaged sewer pipe. To set it up, the calibration tube is inflated, and steam then introduced to cure it in place.

Inflating The Pipe Liner: The resin will be allowed to cure. Steam is also used to facilitate the curing process.

Final Video Inspection: This step is done using the same video camera from the earlier step.

The Advantages of Pipe Relining Over Traditional Methods

Pipe Relining in Frenchs Forest

Pipe relining is still new and some people may be skeptical of this option. Australian property owners who have tried it would surely attest to the benefits that they enjoyed, which include the following:

It is a cost-effective method – We do not use a lot of resources for the task, and so we do not charge you much for it.

It’s done quickly and with minimal fuss – With pipe relining there’s no need to deal with your home looking like a bomb hit it for days on end. In fact, pipe relining is a clean process and one that typically takes a mere day or less to complete.

A boost to your sewer system – Another big bonus is that relined pipes perform better than ever. The flow of wastewater through relined pipes is super steady and smooth.

The material is also known for being sturdy. It is expected that it can last for more than fifty years. That is our guarantee. It also helps protect the pipes from further damage due to root intrusion.

A long-lasting sewer system – Once your sewer line has been relined, we guarantee it to work effectively for you for up to 50 years.
